Dragon Con Parade Patio Party & Brunch Buffet at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails

Science fiction fanatics, super hero junkies and avid comic book readers alike are invited to don their favorite cosplay attire Labor Day weekend during a special Dragon Con Parade Patio Party at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Park Tavern Announces Electric Avenue “The 80’s MTV Experience”

On Friday, June 21, 2019, partygoers searching for a radical night are invited to dust off their leg warmers, neon colors and spandex for the series kick off of Electric Avenue “The 80’s MTV Experience” at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park!

Beginning at 7 p.m., perms and mullets alike can bust a move to their favorite 80’s tunes featuring iconic sounds of vintage synthesizers and drum machines. Guests can also enjoy Park Tavern’s signature favorites such as burgers, tacos, fresh sushi flown in from Hawaii, handcrafted cocktails, frosty beers, a wide variety of wines and much more. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music will begin at 8 p.m. and continue through 11 p.m.

For ages 21 and up, General Admission tickets include entry to the event, standing room and bar seating only on a first-come, first-served basis and are available starting at $20. Park Tavern Announces First Round of Performers for Sunset Sessions

Park Tavern is excited to announce the return of Sunset Sessions powered by Mountain Dew – a weekly, alternative music series in Piedmont Park that is raising the bar for live music experiences in Atlanta!

First launched in 2015, ALT 105.7 and Park Tavern will once again join forces to bring Atlantans and visitors alike a phenomenal lineup of live music from some of today’s most buzz-worthy artists every Sunday for free this spring and summer. The annual series will kickoff on April 28th under Park Tavern’s spacious, air-conditioned Garden Tent with Athens, Georgia native rocker, T. Hardy Morris with support from Neighbor Lady and Teddy & The Rough Riders.

Additional confirmed artists for Sunset Sessions include: Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers, Laura Reed and Whoa Dakota (5/05); Tropidelic, Of Good Nature and Beauregard & the Downright (5/12); Rhett Price (5/19); Kat Wright and The Rad Trads (6/02); Stop Light Observations and Sound Culture (6/09); Blair Crimmins and The Hookers, Remember Jones and The 502s (6/23); Rare Creatures and Dead Swells (6/30); Diane Coffee (7/07); Dr. Bacon (7/14) and Próxima Parada and Little Bird (7/28). The series finale will be on September 8th and more artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

Located conveniently on the Atlanta BeltLine, concert goers can enjoy giveaways throughout the series and the opportunity to mingle with on-air personalities from ALT 105.7 in Atlanta. Keep the Mardis Gras Spirit Alive at Park Tavern’s Oyster Crawfish Festival

For the past 15 years, thousands of music and food loving festival goers gather annually at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park to celebrate the Oyster Crawfish Festival. Offering a day of Mardi Gras inspired fun on Saturday, March 2, 2019, Park Tavern will once again serve up approximately ten thousand pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish that are flown in the night before in addition to live music, cocktails and more.

Since crawfish is the main attraction, hungry partygoers can dive into mouthwatering platters including 1.5 pounds of piping hot and perfectly spiced boiled crawfish served with potatoes, corn and sausage. Additional food offerings include a dozen Gulf oysters on the half-shell, buckets of 18 steamed oysters with drawn butter, and a fried station with fried oysters, shrimp, gator bites, and chicken baskets served with crispy fries. Imbibers can wash it all down with specialty libations served in a souvenir cup like the Blue Balls Hurricane, Bayou Mule, Horny Gator, Bloody Marys, Mardi Gras Margaritas, frosty brews, and much more.

Music Lineup:

With breathtaking views of the Midtown skyline as an ideal backdrop for festival fun, live music will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will feature electrifying performances from DJ Raetone (2:30 p.m.), Blair Crimmins & The Hookers (3:30. p.m.), Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics (5:30 p.m.), and Saved By The Band (7:30 p.m.). Then, DJ Raetone will take the stage again at 9 p.m., and keep the party rolling late into the night.

The festival begins at 2 p.m. While it’s an ages 21 and up event, children may be accompanied by a parent, and children 12 and under do not need to purchase a ticket. Admission Only tickets are available for $5 and include all day entertainment, access to the lawn where furry friends are welcome and an expansive tent area to protect partygoers from inclement weather. General Admission tickets are available beginning at $35 and include entry to the event, all day entertainment, and four booze and bite tickets. VIP tickets are available for $75 and include access to an exclusive entrance, all day entertainment, ten booze and bite tickets, private bars, exclusive seating and lounge area including fireplaces in the historic Park Tavern interior space, and indoor private restrooms. Sail Away with Yacht Rock Revue During Park Tavern’s Brunchfest

Imbibers and diners are invited sip, sail, and brunch the day away at Park Tavern’s Brunchfest with Yacht Rock Revue on Saturday, February, 23, 2019.

Beginning at 12 p.m., brunch lovers can nosh on delicious breakfast bowls, scrambled eggs served with crispy bacon, tater tots smothered and covered, toasted bagels served with cream cheese and cured salmon, a Krispy Kreme station with all the fixings including: whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate; a biscuit station with county ham and sausage; Park Tavern’s signature fresh, raw oysters; and much more.

Partygoers can also enjoy morning libations such as mimosas, bloody marys served with fresh cocktail shrimp, rosé, frosé, champagnes, craft beers, a wide variety of wines, signature handcrafted cocktails, and more.
