    Santa Claus Returns to Park Tavern in Piedmont Park This December

    Santa Claus and his little helpers return to Park Tavern for a day of family fun on Sunday, December 8th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Revelers are invited to grab their cameras, strike a pose and take holiday pictures with their family, friends, kids, and pups in the park.

    While taking in the views of Piedmont Park and Midtown’s picturesque skyline, guests can take advantage of Park Tavern’s extensive dining options including: burgers, tacos, salads and sandwiches, and a  full sushi  bar along with toasting to the season with speciality cocktails, craft brews, wine and more.

    A  favorite in-town holiday tradition, revelers can also hit the ice under the beautiful heated tent at The Rink at Park Tavern powered by Bubly and enjoy complimentary mini-massages from Spa Sydell. Pictures with Santa will take place outside in Piedmont Park, but in the case of inclement weather, Santa will move inside Park Tavern.     Park Tavern Announces Electric Avenue “The 80’s MTV Experience”

    On Friday, June 21, 2019, partygoers searching for a radical night are invited to dust off their leg warmers, neon colors and spandex for the series kick off of Electric Avenue “The 80’s MTV Experience” at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park!

    Beginning at 7 p.m., perms and mullets alike can bust a move to their favorite 80’s tunes featuring iconic sounds of vintage synthesizers and drum machines. Guests can also enjoy Park Tavern’s signature favorites such as burgers, tacos, fresh sushi flown in from Hawaii, handcrafted cocktails, frosty beers, a wide variety of wines and much more. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music will begin at 8 p.m. and continue through 11 p.m.

    For ages 21 and up, General Admission tickets include entry to the event, standing room and bar seating only on a first-come, first-served basis and are available starting at $20. General Admission tickets will increase to $25 at the door. For a guaranteed VIP table, VIP tickets are available starting at $100 for a 4 person VIP table, $180 for a 6 person VIP table and $220 for an 8 person VIP table.

    Park Tavern invites revelers to pull out all the stops to celebrate Dad on Sunday, June 16, 2019 during a sweet, savory, and dog-friendly Father’s Day Brunch overlooking picturesque Piedmont Park.

    Dads can take advantage of a mouthwatering brunch boasting interactive chef stations including an omelet station, a spiral ham and prime rib station, and a French toast and Belgian waffle station. Brunch goers will also be treated to a bountiful buffet featuring BBQ pork and chicken, North Georgia stone ground cheese grits, blackened salmon over warm quinoa salad, Applewood smoked bacon, sausage and chicken sausage, hash brown casserole, fresh salads, a dessert bar with petite desserts and cookies and much more.

    Park Tavern is excited to announce the return of Sunset Sessions powered by Mountain Dew – a weekly, alternative music series in Piedmont Park that is raising the bar for live music experiences in Atlanta!

    First launched in 2015, ALT 105.7 and Park Tavern will once again join forces to bring Atlantans and visitors alike a phenomenal lineup of live music from some of today’s most buzz-worthy artists every Sunday for free this spring and summer. The annual series will kickoff on April 28th under Park Tavern’s spacious, air-conditioned Garden Tent with Athens, Georgia native rocker, T. Hardy Morris with support from Neighbor Lady and Teddy & The Rough Riders.

    Keep the Mardis Gras Spirit Alive at Park Tavern’s Oyster Crawfish Festival

    For the past 15 years, thousands of music and food loving festival goers gather annually at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park to celebrate the Oyster Crawfish Festival. Offering a day of Mardi Gras inspired fun on Saturday, March 2, 2019Park Tavern will once again serve up approximately ten thousand pounds of fresh Louisiana crawfish that are flown in the night before in addition to live music, cocktails and more.

    Since crawfish is the main attraction, hungry partygoers can dive into mouthwatering platters including 1.5 pounds of piping hot and perfectly spiced boiled crawfish served with potatoes, corn and sausage.  Additional food offerings include a dozen Gulf oysters on the half-shell, buckets of 18 steamed oysters with drawn butter, and a fried station with fried oysters, shrimp, gator bites, and chicken baskets served with crispy fries.  Imbibers can wash it all down with specialty libations served in a souvenir cup like the Blue Balls Hurricane, Bayou Mule, Horny Gator, Bloody Marys, Mardi Gras Margaritas, frosty brews, and much more.

    Music Lineup:

    With breathtaking views of the Midtown skyline as an ideal backdrop for festival fun, live music will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will feature electrifying performances from DJ Raetone (2:30 p.m.), Blair Crimmins & The Hookers (3:30. p.m.), Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics (5:30 p.m.), and Saved By The Band (7:30 p.m.).  Then, DJ Raetone will take the stage again at 9 p.m., and keep the party rolling late into the night.

    The festival begins at 2 p.m.  While it’s an ages 21 and up event, children may be accompanied by a parent, and children 12 and under do not need to purchase a ticket.  Admission Only tickets are available for $5 and include all day entertainment, access to the lawn where furry friends are welcome and an expansive tent area to protect partygoers from inclement weather. General Admission tickets are available beginning at $35 and include entry to the event, all day entertainment, and four booze and bite tickets. VIP tickets are available for $75 and include access to an exclusive entrance, all day entertainment, ten booze and bite tickets, private bars, exclusive seating and lounge area including fireplaces in the historic Park Tavern interior space, and indoor private restrooms.
