    A Weekend of Wine Presented by White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails and the Swiss Consulate

    Honoring Fête des Vignerons, a centuries-old Swiss wine celebration that occurs every 20 years, White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails and the Swiss Consulate have partnered to create an unforgettable wine-infused weekend this July.

    While the rare event is happening this summer in the midst of Switzerland’s vineyards, Atlantans and visitors alike can get a taste of the experience at White Oak in the heart of Downtown Atlanta on Thursday, July 25th from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. during a special reception featuring passed appetizers and unlimited tastings of Swiss wines imported specifically for the occasion.  Wine lovers will also be treated to live music from Grammy-award winning, Swiss musician Linus Wyrsch and in-house Découpage demonstrations by Lucrezia Bieler, an artist trained in this delicate craft of cutting paper into intricate, lace-like patterns.

    The festivities continue on Saturday, July 27th beginning at 6:30 p.m. when Chef Lukas Kaufmann of IGNIV at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz and Executive Chef Timothy Magee of White Oak take guests on a guided culinary journey during a five-course Swiss dinner with hand-selected wine pairings.

    City Winery Announces Spring Wine Down Weekends Lineup

    City Winery at Ponce City Market is thrilled to announce the return of Wine Down Weekends, a free music series held on the expansive, dog-friendly patio every Friday and Saturday this spring from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Kicking off on Friday, March 1st with a high-energy show from artist, Wesley Cook, the series will take place through May 2019.

    While enjoying Wine Down Weekends, music lovers can sip on wine from City Winery’s 315+ selection and enjoy signature cocktails and craft beers, while noshing on favorites from Executive Chef Mario Manzini’s menu of globally influenced and locally sourced cuisine. Four-legged patrons are also always welcome on the patio. The series is open to all ages and free to attend.

    Atlas, located in the heart of Buckhead in the St. Regis Atlanta, is hosting it’s next rendition of the popular Winemaker’s Dinner Series with winemaker Giuseppe Brancatelli.

    On Wednesday, October 10, 2018, guests can spend the evening beginning with a reception at 6:30 p.m., followed by a five-course pairing dinner created by Executive Chef Christopher Grossman at 7 p.m.
