Revelers are invited to break out their lederhosen and dirndls in honor of Max Lager’s Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery’s annual Oktoberfest celebration from Saturday, September 21, 2019 to Sunday, October 6, 2019.
Located in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, the century-old brick, and beamed brewpub will be serving up a specialty Oktoberfest menu created by Executive Chef Timothy Magee featuring German-inspired dishes including…
Brezel – a soft pretzel served with warm beer cheese made with Max Lager’s craft beer
Bierwurst – beer brats made with Max Lager’s specialty Oktoberfest beer, Max Fest, and served with grainy mustard and toasted bread
Schweineschnitzle – pork schnitzel topped with lemon and capers, spätzle, red cabbage kraut, and crusty pumpernickel
Wurst Sandwich – beer brats on a hoagie with red cabbage kraut and grainy mustard
Hendl – fire-roasted half chicken with spätzle, red cabbage kraut and chicken jus
Gebrannte Mandeln – candied almonds served in a paper cone
Kaiserschmarren, a,k.a. a “king’s mess” – a destroyed pancake made with almonds, raisins, and topped with a tart fruit compote.
Brewed just for the occasion, beer lovers can also sip on Max Lager’s specialty Märzen style lager, MaxFest Bier, that casts earthy malt aromas and toasted caramel notes. For more information or to make a reservation call (404) 525-4400, or visit https://maxlagers.com.
