    STK Atlanta’s Lobster Mac and Cheese Recipe

    Diners looking to elevate their mac and cheese this National Lobster Day can prepare STK Atlanta’s Lobster Mac and Cheese, a flavorful, mix of five different cheeses and crisp, crunchy golden brown crust and topped with an eye-catching lobster claw. 

    Lobster Mac and Cheese Ingredients:
    4 oz mornay 
    2 oz milk  
    4 oz elbow pasta (cooked)  
    1 oz cheddar cheese 
    1⁄2 oz aged asiago cheese 
    1⁄2 oz parmesan 
    2.5oz lobster meat + one large claw 
    1oz lobster bisque 
     
    Mornay Sauce Ingredients:
    8 oz butter
    1 tbsp garlic, fine chopped
    1/2 cup diced onion

    1 tbsp thyme
    8 oz all-purpose flour
    16 oz whole milk, warmed
    1lbs sharp white cheddar, grated
    8 oz fontina grated
    8 oz asiago, grated
    Salt and white pepper (use the best pepper mills for a stronger flavor and aroma)

    Directions: 

    1. For the mornay sauce, cook the butter until melted and foamy. Add the garlic, onion, and thyme and brown slightly. Add the flour and whisk to combine. Cook out the flour for 5 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly. Slowly whisk in the warm milk in batches until combined. Add the cheese in batches and stir to combine season with salt and pepper. Cool and label.
    2. Sauté the lobster meat.
    3. Add the bisque, mornay and milk.
    4. Add the pasta and cheeses.
    5. Place in baking dish and cover with cheddar/parmesan. Brown in a salamander.
    6. Sauté the claw and place on top as garnish.
    7. Garnish with chives.

    The  eleventh annual Chastain Park Spring Arts Festival will return to beautiful Chastain  Park along  Park Drive in Buckhead on Mother’s Day weekend on Saturday, May 11 and  Sunday  May 12, 2019.  Produced by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the  award-winning, two-day festival features more than 185 painters,  photographers,  sculptors,  leather and metal craft artisans, glass blowers,  jewelers and more.  
    Event goers are also invited  to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment, and participate  in hands-on activities.  The festival will also have a children’s area, food trucks, beverages and a small stage for live acoustic music performances.  The festival is free to  attend, open to all ages, and dogs are welcome.     PARISH’s easy-to-follow dog biscuit recipe uses fresh, natural ingredients including peanut butter, whole wheat flour, rolled oats, molasses, baking soda and milk, that will have every furry, four-legged friend begging for more. A popular stop along the Atlanta BeltLine, dog lovers can also enjoy PARISH’s pet-friendly patio, while spoiling their pups with house-made dog treats available for purchase in PARISH’s Neighborhood Café.

    PARISH’s Dog Biscuits:

    Ingredients:

    1x              2x
    16 oz          32 oz Whole Wheat Flour
    1.5 oz         3 oz Rolled Oats
    .25 oz         .5 oz Baking Powder
    8 oz            16 oz Peanut Butter (you can find the best cbd peanut butter for dogs here)
    .25 oz         .5 oz Molasses
    10.25 oz     20.5 fl oz Milk

    Preparation:
    Whisk together dry ingredients.
    Whisk together wet ingredients.
    Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
    Roll out to ½” and cut.
    Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes.
